I learn best when I can take something apart, ask why it works, and try building it myself.

I was born in Singapore and grew up between Hong Kong and Dubai. Since grade six, I’ve been learning outside a conventional classroom, working with specialist teachers and turning each year’s learning into a major project.

That has meant making VR art, building a sun-tracking solar battery, a Mars rover, and a robotic arm. Along the way, I completed eight IGCSEs and eleven AP exams, finishing my secondary studies at fifteen.

My other workshop is a map. I’m fascinated by alternate history: how a different decision might have changed a border, a country, or a whole system. Minecraft, Roblox, and Cities: Skylines are places where I keep testing ideas about worlds and how they fit together.

These days, I’m learning how much better my questions become when someone else brings a different point of view.
